Outdoor Christmas~ Prim Pals Swap and Out of space but gotta love it

Oh my! Hubby is restoring a huge house right now and they have like 3 real fire places and 3 fake fireplaces.I've been wanting one for awhile as two of the antique malls prim stands have them done up and I love it. They are getting rid of a couple of the fireplaces and one was this fake one so hubby bought it home for me.Now the delema there is NO PLACE to put this.I'm going to have to rearrange a whole room again.I've been trying to simplify but who could pass this up? It'll be great when I'm done now just finding a spot.LoL.. I got the outside done last weekend.I went simple we also have some other decorations up but it's been so cold and windy I don't feel like going out for the rest of the pics and night ones. It's been windy and like 20 degrees in the eves...Here is the porch..Old sled..Vintage ice skates..Carved wood snowman.Antique wood barrel with some simple greens it's all lit up with white lights at night...Oh look Gus is keeping a eye on things...
The white star is sparkly.....

The fence is trimmed in blue lights.Simple wreath on the well pump...

Lighted garland across the porch..
Front Door Santa with long Raffia beard, his face is paper mache...

I participated in the Prim Pals Home For The Holidays Swap. You were supposed to send one fabric item and two wild card items.Donna was my partner at
http://onesimplecountrygirl.blogspot.com/ Here is what I sent her.....And here are the lovely goodies she sent....A tart burner with tart cake..Some holly bowl fillers and a candy cane..Chocolate (hid for myself hubby kept asking for a piece but I didn't share we do have a bowl in the kitchen full so he didn't need my special chocolate) Two battery lights she made over they are really neat I would have never thought of that..A little wood plate ornie and a lovely red gingham homespun garland...Thanks Donna! I loved all of my goodies!!!!
I love doing swaps.Renee and I decided we will do a special one between us after christmas in Jan I'm real excited about that as Renee is like my long lost sister.LoL..Her blog if you want to visit
http://recollectingthepast.blogspot.com Well hope you all are keeping warm and snug.Looks like we might actually get some snow/wintry mix on sunday.I love a blanket of snow for the holidays makes it fresh and cozy.Last year here in Pennsylvania we were hammered with a blizzard and continued snow it was like 3 or 4 foot so most people don't want it but I do.LoL..
Today I'm just going to wrap some presents and take it easy.Have a great day.Warm Blessings!~Amy

What a fabulous fireplace. I definitely would make room for it somewhere. Can't wait to see where you place it.
