Happy Fall and Prayer request

Just wanted to stop in and wish everyone a happy Fall. This is my favorite time of year. We've had a nice preview this last week here in Pennsylvania. Been taking the dogs for lots of walks in the woods and it's been nice the light breeze rustling the leaves, squirrels scampering around and acorns scattered everywhere.
Also wanted to ask for some prayers as I'm scheduled for surgery tomorrow morning. No cancer has been found thank goodness but I'm still in terrible pain almost daily so the fear of surgery is less than the pain at this point. I'll be down at least 8 weeks but look forward to getting back to normal life. It's been a hard 6 months of endless poking and doctors and test so glad to be almost over the finish line. But boy am I scared I'm someone who avoids Drs at all cost. The surgeon I have is very qualified so I expect everything to go ok. But recovery will be super hard since I'm a everything has to be done my way personality. ...smile...
So any prayers would be greatly appreciated and very calming for my fears. I'll give everyone a update in a few weeks. Warm Blessings!~Amy

Thank You Jessica and Update

Wanted to stop in and thank Jessica for her lovely gifts. We signed up for Wendy at Ravenwood Whimzies Fall Swap. She sent some wonderful goodies to incorporate in to my decorating. You can see what I sent on  Jessica's blog  Thank You Jessica for everything. Thank you Wendy for hosting!

A few of you have emailed about the ornie swap. I just don't think I can host this year. I've been going for endless test and doctors. I'm worn out and in pain so I  don't want to commit myself to anything else. I have surgery set for October 3 but had to have soooo many more test and biopsies because the second opinion surgeon thought more should have been done before doing the surgery. I'm glad she is checking everything before cutting. Waiting for the last set of test results then have pre op appoint next week. I was so scared of surgery but now I just want to get it done so I can start getting back to enjoying life. Still very scared of anesthesia but everyone says that should be the easy part. I will start the swaps back up for Valentines and try to get back to regular blogging.I miss you all.~Amy

Swap and Update

Hi Girls! I know it's been a long while since I posted. I haven't been in the best health and it's been a long drawn out process with doctors, test and such. Plus it's summer so it's my busy time. I'm thankful hubby helps alot and puts up with me I haven't been the nicest to be around and I of course always want things a certain way..smile...Thanks to the girls who sent cards and emails wonderful to know I'm thought about. So for my swap girls.I'm going to do the ornie swap this year it will be a little earlier since I will be down from the surgery from the end of October till after Christmas.
