Wow! I'm first! I don't usually get anywhere first!
Sounds like great time for a giveaway!
My favorite thing about the biggest holiday--that's tough. I love the choir in Church on Christmas Eve. I love watching the grandkids open their gifts. I love spending the day with my parents. I love all the simple decorations ( I'm not fond of the commercial crap there is out there these days ) And I do love snow!
I would love to be entered, my friend!
Best wishes to you and yours for a wonderful holiday season! We have much to be thankful for!

It is the Christmas Tree and Music. I love to sit at night with all the lights off except for the glowing tree and play my favorite Christmas music. And of course the most important favorite thing is to share the Holidays with family. We don't get to be with all our children and grandchildren because they all live in separate states--but that is my dream for the perfect Holiday--to all be together...

-My favourite thing about Christmas, what really gives me a warm, sentimental feeling, is old fashioned Christmas carols. I have already started to play them in my studio and in my car. They bring back cherished memories of my family that has past and of our family when our son was little. This year we have a new grandbaby and I will play them and sing them to her.

Thanks,

Amy, Such a sweet giveaway. My favorite thing about Christmas is the fact that we celebrate the birth of Jesus and because of his birth and later his dying for our sin, we will be united again one day with our loved ones. Just laying Mother to rest today, and my Daddy a few years back,,, that promise is more precious than ever.
A warm fuzzy feeling comes when I watch holiday activities thru the eyes of my precious granddaughter. Spending time with my family, the smells of the holidays, shopping, the hustle and bustle of the crowds, and listening to Christmas carols snuggled with Mr, P. by the light of the tree and fireplace.

My favorite part of Christmas... ooh so much to choose from. I love seeing the joyfulness and anticipation from the kids at school. (Even though it means that it's REALLY hard to pay attention :)
I love the lights - especially a tree full of little white ones. I love Christmas music and movies, too. (I am actually guilty of watching some of those movies all year round.)
Thanks for the fun - now I have to read everyone else's favorites. This is a great way to get in the holiday mood!

oh Amy,
I would love to be entered into your giveaway! I would be honored to have your handmade items to decorate my home with. My favorite Christmas memories are those of my Mother and my children on Christmas Eve. My Mother has spent the night with us every Christmas Eve except one or two since I had children. It is awesome to have all of my family under the same roof on Christmas morning. The kids wake us up early in the morning and we all gather in the den area. The kids sort the gifts and start making gift piles for each person. My hubby sets the video camera up so that it captures all the activities of the morning. We each take turns opening presents. One of the children goes first, then it the other's turn, then my Mom, then my Hubby, and then me. After all the gifts are open we clean up all the wrapping paper and boxes. The gifts are carried to the bedrooms. The kids start playing with a special gift or two. Mom and I are in the kitchen starting breakfast, Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits, and gravy. We all eat till we bust, then clean up the kitchen, some take a nap, some play, some watch tv, for me,it is time to start cooking for the late lunch or early supper.
I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with joy, peace, love, and all the happiness you deserve! Thanks so much for being such a great online friend!!!
Hugs,
Lynn

Hi Amy, I am a follower.

I LOVE Christmas, it is my favorite time of year.

I love to cook and bake while I have Christmas music going on in my kitchen.

Every year we all go and see the Christmas lights at La Sallet, which I did with my folks when I was a little girl every year and I passed the tradition on to our sons. This year our oldest son will be bringing his girlfriend, this will be the first, well he is 20 yrs old.
Then after walking around for about 2 hours to see everything, then we go out for dinner and sing Christmas songs on the way and then Mr. Hillcrest takes the back roads home for us to see everyone's home's decorated for christmas.

I love to have our fire going and wear my fluffy pink robe and fluffy pink slippers!( my favortie color) I know it is not a PRIM color, but I can wear it, and LOVE it, LOL!
I have always said for years ""Think Pink""!

For baking I ALWAYS bake my Grandmother's cookies that she baked every year, she is gone , but is in our hearts and I know she is proud I bake these.
She was a Mother to me!

Thank you for hosting a fabulous givieaway and asking us to share some memories! I really enjoyed this!

Mearry Christmas,
Tricia

I love giveaways. But even more I love that my girls are following all the family traditions of Christmas, like making all of Mema's recipes for cookies. And going all out decorating. The youngest daughter has taken up part of the tasks of decorating by doing the yard. Her and her new boyfriend did it just like I did last year. And I didn't think she paid any attention. I love the joy and the togetherness of family and friends at the holidays.

Hi Amy,Whooo I hope I've made it and still have time to sign up for your wonderful surprise giveaway! I have not been around to much, such a busy time of year for me, as with all. I have a few fav's for Christmas, but I will narrow it down to one, so as not to go on and on. Every year on Christmas Eve I take huge trays of homemade cookies that I have worked on the wk. before, to a home for young girls that have suffered abuse and rape, many without families. It is my way of giving back, and to see the smiles on these young girls faces is priceless, when I walk in with there cookies! I have been doing this for quite a few years now and they always look forward to there cookies for there Christmas Eve party. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside, to think that my baking with a lil' bit of "LOVE" could bring such smiles and joy to so many!! Wishing you and your family a wonderful holiday season! Big Hugs, Mary
