I WANT your sheep!! (Is that one of Miss Madalynne's awesome creations?? LOVE it!!) Sounds like a cozy weekend. It's dreary and cold here too - but, you know, I actually look forward to those "comfort" days - home seems so much homier for some reason....I guess too much sun wears me down....Happy, happy, Autumn! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin (We're off in search of the illusive - but delectably delightful Honey Crisp!!)

Hi Amy,
First I want to thank you for visiting my blog and for such a nice comment. I enjoyed making the header - finally figured out how to work Picnik for photos...slow learner on that one....but it turned out.

Your weekend sounds so devine and Fallish - oh and Apple Dumplings. I haven't had a home made one in just years.

Enjoy - Karen

Hi Amy, I am so sorry that I have not been keeping up with my friends in blog land. I am so sorry that you are having to deal with all the extra stuff for your dad. Just do what you can do and be there for him. I know I was terribley hurt by the words my Mother said when she was dealing with breast cancer. I am an only child, so no one else to help. When My Mom got unable to work that was it for money, her work did not offer any type of short term or long term disability insurance. So, we were helping to pay her bills, I moved in and helped her 24/7, we would take her driving on Saturdays just to get her out of the house, when she loss her appetite, any time she mention she would like something I would go and get it. I spent hours looking for cokes in a glass bottle!! Finally found them and paid almost 10.00 for 6 but she wanted them. Then, she told people that I was not there for her during her cancer and recovery!! It still hurts to this day. So, my advice, just do what you can, if other's want to help out, let them, even if your father says not too. You too, have a life and a family to take care of. I will keep you in my prayers. I love your new beeswax goodies and your fall decorating. Thanks for sharing with us.
Hugs,
Lynn
