Homespun Ornie Swap Sign Up

Oh my were did summer go? I'm loving fall slipping in gently though.Well here we go with the most popular or so it seems swap of the year..smile... This is the last open swap for the year.Which means anyone with a blog is welcome to join in the fun and this opens the door so you can join in on our private swaps...For the regulars we have our big christmas swap yet which I will post the end of October..Here are some of the ornies from previous swaps..

Rules You must have a  blog so you can post your ornies.... The ornies must be handmade you can purchase or make them but they must be handmade.... You can send 1-4 ornies how ever many you send is what will be returned to you.... Open to USA and Canada The postal rates have went up so you must include with your package a check, money order or of course cash makes no enemies (we have never had any problems with loss in the mail).. USA is $7 Canada will be $9 US for the return shipping of the ornies...If there is any money left it will go to the local food bank which gives out christmas dinners for families.Some will be over some under but it usually evens out in the end.... Your package to me must include inside a return address label to put on your return package.... The ornies must be packaged with a tag on each one that has your blog url so people can thank you when they post...They must be in clear package or unwrapped so I can see them..I must recieve your package by the first week of  November (7th) you can mail it as early as you want....I'll be sorting and shipping so it reaches you before Thanksgiving...I do not keep track of who gets whos ornies it is the reacivers responsibility to Thank the girls either via a blog post or email.Just common courtesy... All are welcome but this is a primitive,country,colonial,farmhouse swap so only sign up if you like those styles... You may post the image on your sidebar with a link back to here... I will say it one last time ornies must be handmade not imports or mass produced... Swap Mailing Date and a Thank You

 Hi girls! Well Fall is in the air here some chilly days has me in the mood to nest and of course comfort foods..smile.. Just a reminder swap packages need to go out by The 29th. Wanted to thank Danice at Homespun Hannahs blog she surprised me with this lovely quilted mat as a hostess gift. Lovely fall colors and a perfect rest for my hot tea in the mornings...

A few of you have emailed I will be getting the ornie swap posted posted probly this eve or tomorrow. I know I have been a absent blogger lately but things will slow down soon with fall and winter on the way.(I hope..smile..) Got some of my fall decorating done and will be sharing that as well. Yes I know I'm late.Several of you have emailed to remind me..smile..Just been a hectic week and haven't had time to get on the computer much...So here goes...I do want to just say one thing before going on with the swap info A few of you have neglected your Thank You Post, it is hurtful to your partner when they put so much effort into making you a lovely package.If for some reason you can not post email me and your partner otherwise I will block you from the next 2 swaps.This will be a semi open swap which means new people can join in upon approval.For new sign ups you must have a active blog and have posted within the last 30 days.You must be a primitive,colonial,country or farmhouse type blog.You must be a follower of my blog yes new followers are ok.I will check you out and get back to you.occasionally I'll ask you to wait till the next swap so I can get to know you a little better.It's not ment to be mean,I just want to protect the girls involved so they can have a fun and safe swap.It's no fun sending a gift only to be burned so I do check into everyone.Some of the rules may sound strict but our group enjoys higher quality swaps and enjoys the safety that comes along with smaller groups...Golden Rule~ Give as you'd like to receive......You can post the swap banner on your side bar if you want with a link back.

Our theme is Harvest Gatherings which will be Fall and primitive general items.It can be Halloween through Thanksgiving.This swap will require a Pumpkin of some sort.It can be sewn, a scented candle,soap, painted as long as their is a pumpkin item in the box it counts. You must also have one stitched thing in the package like bowl fillers,penny rug, doll, stichery and hooked items count too. Can be purchased or handmade by you.You must send at least 3 other items your choice.So a total of 4 items must be in the box.Yes you may send extra most do...

If you are a regular in the group you know the general rules and nothing has changed Swap Rules ~You must like to give gifts as well as receive.Please only send things you would really enjoy getting ~ I do keep a list of bad swappers and people I have been giving warnings about you know who you are so please do not sign up here ~ USA and Canada only ~ No dollar amount as I feel that hand dids can not be priced.Basically send a nice package you'd like to receive and please NO Dollar Store stuff ~ You must contact your partner once you receive your email and say Hi! ~ You must Thank your partner (they have given you a gift after all) and post your goodies we all like to see.A few of you missed this last swap I do check, and it is hurtful to some when they put so much effort to not even be acknowledged.
