Ornie Swap Reminder and Grumpy

Hi Girls! Just wanted to remind everyone to get your ornies mailed.A few of you have said you needed a couple more days.So as long as they are mailed no later than monday November 4 it will be fine...I will be getting the big Christmas swap posted the middle of next week...On another note I made hubby take me to 4 differnt places to find the perfect pumpkins.Well someone decided they needed them more than me and stole them out of the yard.It was someone that wanted them because they were big and not smashed anywhere. They took them and my little rusty jack.Amazing because they didn't take any of the good stuff.Since we have had several incidents hubby installed a security camera gotta giggle though because all we got is cars and cats. Hope everyone is enjoying fall. The colors are just popping everywhere here in PA.

What a shame that some people have the audacity to come into your yard and steal your things..... I would be ranting and raving! Hope you catch them on your camera.

I know exactly how you feel. Someone stole our light up deer from our front yard last Christmas. They didn't even seen to care that the porch light, yard light, and outside garage lights were on. Now I don't put anything outside anymore.

Isn't it amazing how cruel people can be! We have an egg stand out front, and one day, a guy drove up, put on the show of fumbling with his wallet, took two dozen eggs and a dozen fresh muffins I had just put out there, and drove away...when I went to check the money box, there wasn't anything in it. He obviously never intended to pay for them. There seems to be no respect for others things anymore - it is sad. I'm sorry you lost your pumpkins and such.
HUGS and thanks for the few extra days to get the swap out. Don't know where October went!

The nerve of some people! Guess you are just happy that the pumpkins and rusty jack is all that they took? I just don't get why people think they are entitled to your stuff. Hope the crooks get caught on camera if they come back again.

Sure wish I could have joined the ornie swap but family issues just got in the way but I'm looking forward to the Christmas swap.

If it makes you feel better just remember that there are a lot of people hurting financially right now and maybe someone really wanted their children to have some pumpkins but couldn't afford them...not an excuse but maybe an explanation, it would make me feel better thinking that anyway.
Can I join you on the grumpy train?

Hi Amy ~ so sorry to hear that all your jacks got stolen. You just can't trust people any more. That's why I only put out my really good stuff on trick or treating night and then I bring them in and put them away. Sorry I missed the last couple of swaps ~ life does that sometimes.
But I'm looking forward to the Christmas swap!
Happy Halloween!!!

Punkin thieves! Yikes! Hate it when that happens. One year I put stick legs dressed in old jeans, sticking out of ground with old boots on them. There was 2 "arms" sticking out also like someone fell outta the tree. -- One year some one came along and stole the old boots! LOL Guess they needed them more. ;o)

Aww, so sorry someone stole your pumpkins. We can't decorate in the yard for the same reason. It's a shame. Happy Halloween!
