Hooked Rugs Girls and Snow

Hi Ladies! Hope you all are having a great week.Me? Busy as usual..So much so that I took the dogs to the vet on the wrong day.Lucky for me everyone cancelled with the snow and they were able to take me...smile..I love hooked Rugs and someday hope to hook my own but will be trying the punch needle first.Thought I'd share my collection with you...

This one I wish I hadn't used on the floor....
This one was a gift from sweet Margie made special just for me....
Another wonderful mat from Lauren (Rugs and Pugs) ...
Well we had steady snow all day yesterday didn't amount to much but it was lovely watching it all day...Maybe more for Saturday...
Me,Hubby and the girls went out to the pizza buffet last night. The girls both won happy feet stuffies. The pizza was hot and fresh too..The girls are getting so big! It's hard to believe they were only 2 lbs just a few short years ago.Hannah's Cerebral Palsy is started to be a little more evident as she is having some trouble with school.Brianna is excelling in everything.I had to laugh because they learned this Too sexy song and sing it.Hannah is saving for the CD but Mamaw told her it's inappropriate (her new favorite word) she is so cute when she says it....Hannah Honey Bunch....
Brianna on the run.She will not stand still or pose for pictures anymore..Love her brattiness so much like her Auntie when I was little...
I've had alot of beeswax and candle orders so that's been keeping me busy, plus dad's running and appointments. He was able to set up auction last Saturday so he was happy to get out of the house and work a little. It wore him out but it was good for him to be around his old crew and doing what he loves. It's blood count is good.Things are starting to look better but I know better with Cancer than to get to excited.Day by Day..Wanted to say Hi! to all my new followers as well.So thankful to have you and hope you enjoy my simple little life..smile..Warm Blessings!~Amy

Such sweet little girls. What is with this Sexy song..lol. Kaden came home from school singing it too! Then my daycare provider from California posted on facebook that her 8 yo son wanted to play the song..but she wouldn't let him. I've never even heard it!! I guess I really am blonde, lol! I love your hooked rugs. It's fun looking at your things and getting "ideas!" Have a great remainder of your day Amy. Katie

Such beautiful girls!! Hard to believe that with those sweet little faces they could be "bratty!" But with having raised 3 daughters (who also had sweet little faces), I know what you mean!! :)

Love all your hooked rugs. I, too, have a little collection and wish I could do it myself. Maybe I will find a place that teaches it around here, but so far I haven't found anything.

Glad to hear that your dad was feeling well enough to get out for a while.... I'm sure that he was happy to be with his crew. Hopefully, he will have many more good days ahead.....

Have a nice evening.....

Love your rugs. I have one that I made out of rags (torn sheets) and I just adore it. Rug hooking is so relaxing but I do find the wool strip ones frustrating because it bugs me if the loops get twisted so I prefer wool yarn or the rags.

The girls are beautiful! I'll bet that when you take them out to pizza you can't believe that they were 2# at one time! When J and Hiney eat I can't imagine that they were about 8# at one time! They eat and eat and eat to no end!

Lots of love...I need to get back to creating a few things for my swap partner ; )

You have a nice collection of hooked rugs! I don't even have a single one. I need to fix that this year.

Darling little girls, love their beautiful blond hair!

Good to hear about your dad! I bet he loved getting out like that. I'm sure it was good for him even though it probably wore him out. Yes, day by day is the only way to go with life in general. =]

Hope you have a wonderful weekend~

Hi Amy...oh the girls are just darling!!!

What gorgeous rugs - couldn't pick a favorite - they are all beautiful.

Glad your father is doing better and I can just imagine the feeling of 'freedom' he must feel when he can get out and do his regular normal things.

...And what a nice hooked rug collection too! I too love hooked rugs and have my own in my collection. It is a time consuming art form and I find myself too attached to 'em to sell 'em after I'm done. ;o)

...Thank you so much for the Well Wishes over at my blog! It is appreciated more than you know. :o)

...Have a wonderful weekend!

...Blessings :o)

Amy,

The girls are too cute and yes children grow too fast. My baby is 16 and I don't know where the time has gone. Love your hooked rugs.

Glad to hear that your dad is doing better. One day at a time is the perfect way to deal with cancer. Betcha he was just grinning to be back in the saddle even if he was a little tired.

We've only been getting light dustings of snow here in MD, which is all right with me...we can skip right over winter and go straight to spring.

Have a great day.

Wowsers - you have almost as many hooked rugs as I do - and I hook! ;o) Love Lauren's little mats....And those little blondes look like they could be a handful and then some. I guess I missed somewhere that they're twins?? Really? I guess they do look alike, but somehow I didn't put that together...yikes. (Gee, maybe I'm the blonde one....) And 2#??? - holy cats....that's scary. Hugs ~ Robin
