Sweetness from Misi

Oh my so far behind on blogland..Busy and we caught a lovely bug which has hung on almost 2 weeks. Wanted to share all the sweetness from my friend Misi 1890 Gable House Musings. Such a very talented and giving person!

The doll is so special reminds my of my Pap Pap as he raised chickens. It will find a special place and stay out all year..

  Some of her late night punching. So blessed to have this. Stuffed with lavender. she also sent some girly lotion and soap and some yummy caramels which I did share. Blogger keeps deleting my pics . Thank you Misi for being such a wonderful friend!  I'll be back in a day or two with my fall decorating..Also wanted to remind the girls in the ornie swap you have about 10 days left. Thanks so much Melissa ! I loved evegrything...Next  up is Allison. She has been in the swaps for a long time but I never got a chance to swap with her . It was nice to finally get the chance. Here are the gifts she made. I just love the little stitched jacks and the caramel candy bars..yummm...

Swap Reminder and a Little Autumn

We've had some chilly days here the last week.I'm loving it but not quit ready yet.Need to get a few more markets in.I have managed to get the inside Fall put out but kept it simple this year.I'll show on my next post.I reacived a wonderful surprise in the mail from my bloggy friend Marsha (Tattered Chick) She sent the altered witch picture above and this pumpkin stick below....

She also sent the girls some awesome Halloween necklaces but I forgot to take a pic.They just loved them especially since the one looked just like Hannah sitting on a pumpkin..Marsha is such a sweetie! My kindred spirit just adore her....Ok so I bought the pumpkin spice kisses and well I didn't quit like them for "candy" so this is what I did with them....

Just made snickerdoodles and topped them with the kiss while they were still warm.They were yummy and just perfect with hot tea for fall! Well busy here but did want to stop in and remind everyone in the Harvest Gatherings Swap monday is the final ship day. Can't wait to see what everyone recieves..smile..Hope everyone is enjoying little touches of Fall it'll be christmas before we know it.LoL. Warm Blessings!~Amy

New Washing Machine

Well hot here again.It's ok I can wait a little longer for fall.As most of you know I go out every week in the summer and pick.Well I stopped at a sale and bought a few things.So hubby says to the lady I see the house is for sale are you getting rid of anything else? She says come in I have a washer for sale.I think boring and just stay out and look some more.So hubby comes out and says I think you better go look.I say I don't want a washer.So he talks me into going and looking.Well I say I gotta have it but I don't have enough money so have to run back and get money and come back in a few hours.Soo here is my new washer.It even has the original labels and runs perfectly.I fit it in the kitchen took some rearranging but it's in there..It was so heavy to move....

So then the lady says I have some things upstairs since you like this stuff.So went up and dug through the loft.I bought a bunch more stuff from there.Then she offers me a set of 100 year store scales so I tell her I'm broke till monday.She says no problem I'll hold them.Then monday we dug some more.So she says she is going to sell most of the house off once the house sells.She kept my # and will call.Oh my she has some wonderful stuff.I kept a old dough bowl as well..I love running into sales like that.The ones you just bump into and become fast friends and get the good stuff..smile..

So this weekend is the last hooray of summer.We'll probly just have a cook out and keep it simple...Not much going on here.Just wanted to stop in and say Hi!
