Look at the carved wood eagle,he's staying with me...
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!~Amy
Hey didn't I just get rid of a bunch of this kind of stuff..I bought a ton of old cookie cutters not sure what I'll do with them yet...Also got a bunch of other antique kitchen stuff advertising biscuit cutter...Wood Pie crimper...Old well used wooden spoons.. That stuff will go... This is staying for now Early tin spice box with chippy original red paint....
and look all the canisters are in there and the nutmeg grinder...
Random stuff and a better pic of the eagle..The antique tin is really neat..The red fence goes around a twig tree I bought..Forgot to get pics of some it was alot of stuff..Most of this will go..
Love the old berry vegetable gathering baskets hoping to keep these but they might go if I can't find a spot. One big one small they stack inside each other...
This was hubby's picker find.It wasn't for sale but he always ask about stuff he wants even if it's not in the sale. They said yes..Antique ice box....
All the trays still in in..
It's staying...smile...
And finally I didn't find this today but Margie http://hungryhookprimitives.blogspot.com/ and I did a personal swap and she saw a redware bird plaque I had she wanted and I saw this.So we swapped.I collect Gold dust twins..I have the large wood shipping crate and the small box to match this.. You can visit http://bumblebeelanecottage.blogspot.com/2010/10/apple-dumplings-and-black-americana.html to see the other pieces..

Ilove your things, your displays are awesome to me, I am definately a hoarder, I have a hard time parting with things that I like. He He Have a great weekend. Hugs, Lecia
My parents always talked about an ice box, but I really didn't know what one looked like. They actually used them when they were children! I love that basket in the second picture!!
I have a ice box but it looks very diffrent it is an oak one much smaller. I try not to be a hoarder but it creeps in little by little. Looks like you got some good finds.
Cathy

Amy,
You're not a hoarder...you're an appreciator! LOL! You appreciate the old simple things and give them a loving home where they are admired and loved. Have fun at the flea market tomorrow. Don't think the hubby is in the mood to get up early, so we won't be going.

Hoarding...shmording....minimilism sucks!!! Homes with lots of prims look cozy and warm. When you start hoarding garbage...then there is a problem :)
LOL! Amy, did you do this post for me? LOL! I have been beating my head in the wall about this!
I understand about the whole simplify thing, but I also know that I am not one of those people! LOL!
I am a collector, I like pretty much the same things you like, so I know you get it.
I also know that SOME of it I have to let go of, and believe me, I have gotten rid of A LOT!
My craft room is very unorganized and I really dread going in there, but I do know I need to do it so I can work in there.
Thanks for sharing, and I LOVE your home, it's very cozy!
Love ya!
Blessings,
Renee
OMG...that ice box!! WOW...would love to have that, you are so lucky girl!! That wood eagle is also awesome! Can't wait until my pineapple on the spool gets here from you!! I always need those pineapples...lol!!

You crack me up. I am trying so hard to purge. I move things around, some things leave, and I buy more--always more. Your on-line sale gave me inspiration. I'm still cleaning closets and drawers.... I try. I really do but I love my stuff.

Oh Sweet Amy...At least you have an "excuse" - you can always say it's for your flea sales, etc. I'm to the point where I make my husband watch "Hoarding: Buried Alive" so I can say "See...I'm not THAT bad!" (BTW - he's not buying it much!) And I looked at the things you sold at your blog sale and wondered how you could part with those things...Gee...don't think it's YOU who has a problem. You know who bought them!! You're a sweetheart...love your things; love your insights. NO YOU ARE NOT A HOARDER!!
Hug & Smiles ~ Robin
Oh my gosh that refrigerator is to die for, what a lucky girl! Love all your finds....you should see me craft room( I have the same problem)...need to declutter, but it's so hard to part with things in there, cause you know what happens.. get rid of it and the min. you do, thats when you need it for your new creations...LOL I love what Dee Begg had to say, Your not a hoarder, your an appreciator...way to go Dee!LOL
Amy~
