It would be mailed the middle of January. If I get at least 6 people interested I'll get it posted for sign ups..It used to be 25+ joined in but lately it hasn't been many joining in. If you want me to host The Heart of Winter Swap please comment so I can see if we have enough this time. Hope everyone is enjoying some cozy time before the Holiday rush!

Autumn Decor and last call for ornie swap

Hi Friends! Just stopping to share a few pics around the house of my fall decorating. I have been enjoying the season. Took the girls to a corn maze last week and we got lost for over a hour. Finally I told them and hubby I was going my way and we were out in 10 minutes...smile... We were going to do the night one with flashlights I was so glad we decided not too.
Not alot happening my way just getting ready for the long winter ahead..Sometimes feel like a squirrel running around gathering nuts but I know the cozy nesting season is soon.....

Hubs found the metal scarecrow at a estate sale and bought it home to me....Love it....
The annual ornament swap is posted.Just wanted to let you know there is still time to join in the fun.. This used to be the biggest swap and so much fun but with so many moving to Facebook instead of blogging I only have about 7 girls. If you want to join in Click Here for details  All are welcome.
Well girls hope you are enjoying Autumn. I've been making sure to take some time and relax with a warm cup of tea a few times a week. Lighting the candles as the eves are coming in earlier. Today will be baking some Pumpkin cinnamon rolls and taking some out to Grandma's old farmhouse. Warm Blessings!~Amy

Summer and Spaghetti Squash Recipe

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We went to a town sale and the GPS got us lost so we were about 45 mins late so it was to crowded to enjoy. Did not find much alot of kids stuff. Stayed home that eve as we have been having a heat wave.It has been to much to be outside long.Today has been a rainy morning and supposed to break the heat and humidty.Tomorrow is supposed to be pleasant which is wonderful since I have outside plans all day...smile...My sweet niece is doing better thank you for the prayers and good thoughts...She still has to take it easy for about 2 months but will not need surgery...Her burns are healing as well. The gardens are doing well. This year I planted Spaghetti squash I found the best recipe for it last fall it was addicting so thought I better have plenty for fall..We like to add a little chopped onion and crumbled sausage... Recipe here Spaghetti Sqaush

It's super easy so don't be intimidated but I do find it needs about 20 mins extra time and sometimes covered with foil so it don't get to brown..I planted Kale and Swiss Chard a friend gave me seeds but have no idea how to use it except in soup so I guess I'll be looking at pinterest in the next few days as we have a ton of that. The girl across the road has a small produce stand maybe I'll give a few bunches to her. Also need to get out and plant second batch of sunflowers for fall. So what fun things are you doing for Summer?

A few finds

Been a busy week. For 2 days Hubby and I picked a secluded old farm. The barn out buildings and house were packed full.It was Hard and Dirty work but each day we managed to fill the van. There were a couple other people there but there truly was plenty for everyone. The other people were people I knew from around except one. Most of the stuff will go to the Vintage Market next month.I did find a few things I wanted to keep but narrowed my keep pile to 3 and one maybe.... The watering can is huge.
I had to pay a little extra for the George picture but the Large Gusso frame was worth it.Huge early picture I've looked for awhile but could never afford so he is staying awhile.
The dough bowl I'll just add to the collection....
This one I'm on the fence about.I don't think I really want it but in our area people don't really understand printed antique boxes. So to sell it for a fair price is hard and shipping cost is high to try to sell online so for now it's here but probably will go...
Been rainy here but now supposed to be very hot and humid. Need to get out and tend the gardens so hopefully it will even out sometime this week.
