Simple Ramblings From A Prim Cottage

Welcome to my new followers! I'm so excited to see the new faces. Some of your blogs I follow but I'll be checking out everyones as they follow.Well today I was to go to Maryland (about a hour drive) for a big town yardsale but I got part way and my jeep was having problems so I didn't get to go. I left at 6am so it was still dark so I'm glad hubby was around to help this morning. My hubby thinks it's worked out and will take me tomorrow.I don't like going saturday as they have the festival as well as the yardsales that day and there are sooooo many people plus I like going the first day for the yardsales. In the town are old homes and you always find some good treasures. Now I'm still excited to go tomorrow hoping to find a trencher (always hunting those) and some old pantry boxes.Like I said old houses so they normally have old stuff.I normally come home with a car full.. a few things for me and some antiques for fleamarket.I'll share if I find some goodies tomorrow. So today I just hung around the house and did some housecleaning.Boring!! I'm participating in a few swaps coming up so started working on some handdids for those. Now I think I'll go curl up and read my Mercantile Gatherings that's been sitting here a week and enjoy some me time. Thanks fo visiting!

A town yard sale sounds like fun. Can't wait to see what goodies you find!

I love estate sales--more old stuff....
City-wides are usually way too busy for us but flea markets--love them!
Hope your ride is fixed!
