Tuesdays Display Chain Sprucing up and Springing

Yikes! Maybe I shouldn't show you this.LoL. Well today is display chain and our theme is sprucing up and springing. As most of you know we are "sprucing" up the kitchen. So that is definately my spring clean up and out project. There are piles like this all over the place driving me nuts....

They need sorted into keeping and selling today.I'm only keeping about half as I want a fresh open farmhouse kitchen...So I have this fresh canvas to start anew and decorate....
Tuesdays display chain is hosted by Misi http://1890gablehousemusings.blogspot.com/2012/03/sprucing-springing.html  So stop over and visit or join in the fun.Well I better get busy going through my treasure piles. It truely amazes me that alot of the stuff I didn't even realize I had.Warm Blessings!~Amy

There are areas in my home that I so need to go through stuff...I have been weeding for over a year..getting rid of so much and still there is more :) It is always such a good feeling though in the end of a task..to look around and see your accomplishments. Can't wait to see your kitchen when you are done with your decorating...take your time and enjoy getting everything just as it should be :)

Oh Amy,
If I lived closer I would be there to help. I will be able to get down on the floor and help sort but you and your hubby will both have to help pull me back up!! LOL
Please take pics of the goodies you are going to get rid of so all of us that live sooooo far away from you can drool all over our keyboards!!
Hugs,
Lynn

Oh Amy, It looks like you have a lot of work ahead of you. But what fun it will be putting it back like new treasures. Do share your redo when you have it all complete.
Enjoy your day!

I, too, look forward to seeing your kitchen once you have redone it! I am also getting rid of many things in my home.... I think it will feel good to not have quite so much "stuff" to dust!!

All I can say is, it is a very good thing we don't live close to each other.....I'd help you go through those piles - and would happily haul away what you didn't want....and my kitchen doesn't need it!! That would truly be a hard task for me - you have such great pieces - those chairs are gorgeous! And is that an old butter churn in the back? And that menu sign....Ok, ok....need to stop fantasizing here.....Good luck with your project!! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

The way a pile looks is all in the eye of the beholder. It will all soon disperse and be beautiful again. Good luck with all the "sprucing". Your box should be there by Friday or Sat. -Steph-

Looks like a big job, but when you are done you will be so happy!
Dear hubby is thinking of painting the ceilings on our first floor this weekend, they need it -- but you know that will cause a cleaning spell.
Happy Stitches
