Well Hello

Hi sweet ladies! Oh my haven't been blogging much lately. It started Christmas Eve got soooo sick then around tuesday I felt better Well then friday it came back and I'm just feeling semi better now.But I am sick of being sick so up trying to do some things. It was a stomach bug and hubby kept wanting me to go to the Urgent care well I'm not much for doctors but gave a deadline for yesterday if not better I would call a regular doctor.(we don't go to the drs much and ours retired so we need a new one) Well I started to feel better so I'm waiting it out. It's a stomach bug.I'll tell you if I have to go much longer on a BRAT diet I'll go nuts.LoL I need SUGAR! I just got the Christmas decorations put up today but now I'm worn out so will just pick a little with the cleaning and getting the house back together...The good thing is I Lost 14 lbs being sick.I know most will come back once I eat right but gotta try to find a bright side here..smile.. I've been trying to get some RAK's together there are a few people I think just need a little surprise to cheer them up..Nothing like a little hug in the mailbox..So did you make any New Years resolutions? I don't really make resolutions as it's hard for me to stick to them so I just set general things I'd like to change like try to excercise a little more, slow down and enjoy the small things, not let others negativity effect me,Set more time aside for things I enjoy and try to simplify.I don't think I'll ever get to the last one as there are always a million directions I'm going in and I really enjoy "stuff"..smile..

Not to much going on here.Just wanted to drop in and say Hi and let you know your in my thoughts! Warm Blessings!~Amy

Amy sorry to hear you have been sick. Wow, 14 pounds, you must have been really under the weather. Hoping you will soon be good as new. I so dislike going to doctors also. Take care

Glad to hear you are doing a little better. It is exhausting. Love the pic at the top of your blog.
That simplify resolution is tough one, especially when you like stuff, I understand : ).

Sorry to hear that you've been under the weather )=
Wow! 14 pounds, that's alot of wt. to lose. Must be a nasty stomach bug. My son works the 10p.m-6a.m shift and he came home early from work at 2:30 a.m this morning saying he was sick. So I have a feeling whatever he has he will be sharing with the rest of us.
I hope you will shake this stomach bug soon. Take care and get lots of rest.

Hi Amy -- sorry to hear how sick you've been, and hope you are now finally done with it! I agree with the others.... 14 lbs. is a lot of weight to lose -- must have been a nasty bug. I have been down with a cold and sore throat for a couple of days now -- hope the stomach flu stays away!!

Thought you'd like to know that I have received the most wonderful items from Traci's auction.... the talent and generosity is just amazing!

Feel better soon!!

Goodness girl, sorry you've been so sick! That's not a good way to lose the pounds (although I wouldn't mind losing that much + more). I'm with you... gotta have that sugar!

I don't make resolutions because I can't keep them and I hate feeling like a failure. I am going to start doing RAK's though. You and Linda have inspired me in that area. I already know where I want to start... it's like God put in my heart who needs that hug in the mailbox. I think it's gonna be a fun year, I'm looking forward to it!

Hope you are feeling better soon and back to creating and crafting~

Hope you are doing better today Amy! I myself ended up in the hospital ER on Wednesday night. I had been sick at both ends ALL morning, day and night and finally I said enough. I knew I was dehydrated which I was. So I spent over 4 hours there with an IV and getting a shot for the nausea. Yesterday I did nothing. I did work this morning but did it carefully as my muscles around my stomach and chest area are still sore from the nausea. Catching up with blog reading now. I'm way behind. Anyway, again, I hope you are feeling better and big hugs to ya!!

Oh, Amy, so sorry that you have been sick! That is so hard and the holidays make it so much worse it seems. Glad that you got your Christmas put away anyhow. Your "resolutions" sound a lot like mine, now only if I could stick to them a week or so! Hope that you feel better very soon!

Amy, I hope you feel better soon. Being sick is the last thing a "prim" friend needs. I'm afraid I am like you, don't go to the doctor unless I think I am not going to get well. I say this and 2 of my grands a doctors!
