Prim Wallboard Finished and Up

Good Morning! Well I'm having a really hard time getting motivated this morning. It's been a busy, hectic week and today will be the same but hopefully I can get everything done today and take a much needed break saturday to do nothing but sip a warm cuppa.... And read my ever growing pile of magazines..maybe get some christmas up and watch some TV..Hey a girl can daydream can't she? No I'm going to try really hard to make it happen...
Well as my regular bloggies know I've had the wallboard delema.I first found the perfect one decided it was too much money, decided to go buy it anyway and it was sold.Hubby was going to make one but we lucked upon this at the antique mall this week...It even has rusty old hinges..All I did was wash it down and at 6 o'clock this morning hubby and I hung it.I originally had a reproduction stepback cupboard on this wall I sold it and have had the idea of a wallboard ever since.Well after 2 months it's done...Here is the board it's big and old and the rusty hinges give it charactor....
Here it is with all my Prim goodies I've been collecting for it.Yes I had a vision and it turned out just how I wanted.....
I need to get the ladder out and sand off that little bit of white paint on the corner...Click the picture to zoom in if you want....
It's hung over my antique glass store display cabinet so I kept bugging hubby to make sure he used strong mollies and pull on it as I would be so heart broken if it fell down and broke it.
I just love how it turned out. It's really big hard to tell from the pics and really makes a statement in person...Want to welcome my new followers soon to be old friends (smile)..I'm almost at 100 followers and think we'll make it before the drawing tomorrow.Fingers crossed I'd love to pick the extra name for a little goodie.I got to get motivated and busy if I want to have some free time tomorrow so ya'll have a wonderful day.Warm Blessings!~Amy

That is really neat! I don't know that I have ever seen that done but I really love the idea and the look! Looks like a table top and leaf attached? It certainly is prim and I love the goodies you have added to it!
