I know we all love peeking at everyone's homes and collections and to all my new followers I normally do collections or decorating scatter throughout blogs. The graniteware is more my husband's collection. We used to have alot more but recently sold about 50 pieces. We had blue swirl and grey swirl/mottled but decided to just stick with the grey.We also decided since we collect so much to just keep and collect the rarer and better pieces so alot of the gray went too.The bottom piece is a exception it is very rare and worth alot of money (like $1200) in the collectors book of course we know you never get what is worth. It's called a Lavabo but was also advertised as Toilet fountain with basin.Basically it was a old time sink from the 1880's era...
The lid comes of and it's filled with water.Funny thing about this piece is hubby found the top and bought it not sure at the time what it was or worth then was dissapointed that he didn't have the basin once he looked it up.The next week at the same fleamarket from a differnt vendor I found the basin. They most have went to the same auction and bought it in separate pieces...Old funnels below..
Coffe and teapots. The one sort of in the middle is a rare one I bought hubby for christmas last year.It has pewter final, handle and spout..You can click on any pics to enlarge them if you want a closer look....
Old milk pails.....
I like the little child size..

Hi Amy,
So glad your baby made it to her new home safe and sound.
I love your graniteware collection.
I used to collect blue white swirl and grey graniteware.
I sold most of it off over the last couple of years.
I still have a few of my favorite pieces.
Im real bad about that....
I go crazy collecting something, then get in the mood for a change.... sell it off.... then end up regreting it!! :)
Thanks for sharing.

Awesome collections and I really love the bathroom basin. That is just the coolest thing I have ever seen. I don't think I have ever seen anything like it before. How lucky you were to have found it. The rest of your collections are great too. So prim and I love the little doll you won in the giveaway. She is just so .... cute.
I just found your post today - I too collect gray granite ware - you have some great pieces. Thanks for sharing!
