I haven't been much in the Christmas mood this year.Just to much rushing and hecticness to enjoy.I also have been neglecting my family with everything. So Sunday I took the time to spend sunday at Grandma's farm house.Had dinner with the family then spent the afternoon playing with the girls.Driving on the way home listening to christmas music was the first time this year that warm joy of Christmas came over me..so now I'm ready to wrap my gifts, watch some holiday movies and enjoy the real meaning of the season....
The little red cupboard all decked out.See the little snowman my SIL Jean made for me.Gave him to me on Thanksgiving.Sweet as can be.The little tree stitchery is by Linda Claus..
Always gotta have a vintage elf to report to Santa..What list are you on?
My late arrival on the ornie swap from Kerri Calico Rabbit blog.So worth the wait.LOVE!
Belsnickles on top of the old mercantile cabinet..Reindeer stitchery another ornie from the swap from Theresa...
On top of the TV.Need to get a new pic of the girls...Hope you enjoyed you tour.I still have the outside and kitchen to show if I get time. There are a few other post if you want to look at the older post.I have to take dad to the Drs today. He needs fatten up so I baked him a big tub of cookies and cranberry cream cheese muffins...A few of you sent Christmas Cards and wanted to let you know it just tickled me to know you took the time to send a old fashioned card and took time out of your busy life to think of me.Really means alot.Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.Warmest Blessings!~Amy

This month is just flying by and Christmas will be here before we know it. I haven't been much into the spirit of the Holiday, either. Too much going on in my life. My 10 yr old son did get me to watch a few Christmas movis, that helped some. Love all your Christmas decor. Thanks for sharing and Enjoy your week!
Thank you for sharing your Holiday decor, perfectly primitive, love it all. Sometimes we tend to put too carry much on our shoulders and lose track of the simple things, family and friends, there is nothing better.
Hugs
Connie
All your prim Christms displays look great!! Love the one from Kerri! Hope your dads dr. visit goes well.
Hugs Christina
Amy I love the way you decorate.... and all the lovely primes too. I love those two snowman you have sitting together....are they from Kim "The red Cupboard"?
I mean Prims....darn auto correct. :0)
Love all of your prims, especially that Santa! Have a Merry Christmas!
I so know what you mean - this year just isn't one of the best...Keep waiting for that flood of spirit to overtake me, and the days tick by and it's still not here. You have way more done than me Girlfriend. All your decorating looks wonderful - you have some seriously cool things. Love that little tree stitchery by L'Claus - and those snow folk from Kimberly....between you and Teresa I know why they disappeared before I even saw them! Hope you find much more joy in the days to come....Smiles & Holiday Hugs ~ Robin
Hi Amy,
So glad to hear you have been filled with the Christmas mood.
It can be tough to feel with so much other stuff going on.
I am so happy to hear you took some me time and just relaxed and enjoyed spending time with your family.
Love all your Christmas decor.
Isn't Kerri's Santa adorable?!
I love mine too.
Take Care sweetheart.
Hugs,
Tam
Amy, I am so happy your Dad can be around for another Christmas and that he will let you try to 'fatten' him up. It is important to adhere to our old routines during these stressful times. Do all those little things you always do. They can be the most important things you do to someone you love. Making memories, recalling old memories, sharing your most precious commodity--time--that's what it is all about.....
Love you, Hon.
Sending prayers up for you and yours!
So happy to hear you are getting into the spirit a bit. It's the small things and quiet time that helps me. I am trying to enjoy it while it's here, January will be here before we know it.
Christmas Blessings to you!
:)Stacy
Grandma always knows best :-)
Done it seen it and been there :-) Ah bless eh ?
Feeling the same way this year and it's so not like me. Life's distractions get in the way but I know everything will work out. Like you and many others we just need to accept that "we" can't get everything done the way "we" want it. I've cut back on so much of my decorating, Christmas will come whether I have it all out or not. I'm hoping tomorrow I feel better and can finish up a few things and enjoy the reason for this season.
Warm hugz,
Sheila
