Christmas and some Sweet Surprises

Well sweet ladies I'm a little indiffernt about Christmas this year.I'm so warm hearted about all everyone has done and it warms my heart knowing how much eveyone cares but on the flip side it was a stressful time of uncertainty. Then Christmas Eve I got very sick,Christmas I didn't even want to open presents or visit.I'm still not feeling up to par...So it was the best and worst Christmas ever.LoL..I will say I'm looking forward to a New Year.I always love a fresh new begining.Wanted to share hubby's gift from my sil Jean http://primcrafts.blogspot.com/ he just loves it,he says she should make him a whole herd.LoL..Prim Reindeer... I saw a few on another blog but theirs looked little this one is BIG..Jean made me a George which you can see by visiting her blog.I love my gift too! ...I did manage to get up and go to grandma's old farmhouse Christmas. The girls were on sugar cookie and present high so it was hard to get them to sit still long.Me being sick wasn't in the mood to catch them..smile..Hannah honeybunch did let me give a few pics but everyone she was bouncing though.LoL..Brianna was outside most of the time....

Christmas Eve there were a few surprises in the mail... Tam http://aprimitiveplace.blogspot.com/ sent me a well loved Rag doll. The doll is so worn and loved and has patches. It is ragged stuffed it truely looks like a prairie child loved on it 100 years ago.Tammy is such a kind person and always gives of the heart.Thank you Tam I'm blessed to know you.

Then my sweet friend Robin http://primitivehutch.blogspot.com/ surprised my as well with this beautiful Prim Perfect stitchery...Oh and chocolate. That girl knows how to make me happy..smile...

Thanks Robin you are truely such a special friend! I also wanted to thank eveyone again who sent cards.I got 22 cards from blogging friends. Each ment so much like a warm hug letting me know you thought of me.You girls are so special and I'm blessed to know you! I normally take down my decoration new years day so I can enjoy a week of christmas with being sick it's been nice to see all the cards a glow in candlelight and the tree.Just calm and peaceful.Hope you all have had a wonderful Christmas and remembered to count your blessings.~Amy

Nice treasures from everyone. Went over to Jean's to see the George and he's amazing, too! Sorry you weren't feeling well for Christmas. Hopefully you can lay low this week and rest up for starting the new year.
I love that fresh start feeling, too. :)
Blessings to you and yours. :)

Dear sweet Amy~
I surely hope the New Year is kinder to you and well, the rest of us too. We all need things to change around this country for the better of everyone!
I had already seen "George" on Jean's blog and he's quite a looker don't you think? Her work is exceptional-such perfection and detail.
I'll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers my friend. Sending you a big hug too!

Oh, Hon, I am so sorry to hear you are down in the dumps and feeling puny. You need to take care of yourself. I fully understand what you are going through. It seems we are having similar situations. Get more rest and eat good healthy foods. I know it doesn't sound like much but we do tend to ignore ourselves when we are so busy taking care of those we love. Sometimes, we have to let them do some things for themselves and all the time, we have to let God do His part. I want to keep my sanity because in this crazy situation we are in, someone has to be positive and upbeat. I know it has to be me. So much pressure, so many decisions, so little time..... Sadly, we know ahead what the results are going to be and yet we cannot be prepared for it.
Please know I am thinking of you and praying for you.
Big hugs, Sweetie.
Take care.

Sorry to hear that you've been sick. No fun being sick but especially on Christmas! Hope you are feeling better by now.

That reindeer is adorable! I've seen lots of little ones but not one this size, he is cute. Tam's rag doll is so sweet too! She does look well loved. Robin's pillow is prim perfect!

I hope you all have a grand time bringing the new year in~

Hope by now you are on the mend...It stinks being sick at the holiday (I know - I usually am....) - and only makes all your not-good situations seem all the worse. Hoping and praying that your 2012 is a little brighter. I love your wonderful new treasures - and that reindeer Jean made is adorable! I had wanted one like that for under my tree, but never did find one - and I saw your George on Jean's blog...what a doll - those ears! And Tam's prim dollies are one of a kind wonderful - as is Robin's stitchwork....You got some of the best of the best there my friend. Wishing you a speedy recovery and joy for the new year....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
