Swap Reminder Update on Dad and Chit Chat

Well it's been a whirlwind week,But summer is always such a busy time for me anyway.Been doing some junking not finding much good lately.Fleamarket has been going well for us but I've had to dig threw my "hoarding" stuff and part with some stuff due to lack of finds.Hate parting with some but I really got a abundance between the loft and computer room.Really most of the time I forgot what I have...I was without internet a few days so it backed me up with blogging and listing but I'll tell you it's just amazing what you can do whithout the distraction..LoL..

Dad went and got tattooed for his radiation. He starts treatment next week for 4 weeks then waits 2 more to see the results. Then they will go in and cut out the tumor and give him chemo. So he's not actually getting the tumor out till the middle of august..They are saying the good thing about it is it's contained and he's young middle 50's.My dad has slowed down in the last few weeks due to pain.He has refused the pain pills so far.I took him a case of ensure over and will be starting to make his meals as well next week.Since he's single he mostly eats take out now but with the radiation he won't be able to eat that.I've been dealing with it day by day.Yes it nags at me alot the "Big Unknown" but all I can really do is be there as much as I can.Hubby says I'm more short tempered and Witchy (you know..smile) which is out of character for me so he's not used to it.I don't catch it just find that I want left alone to just work through the steps to get done.Probly makes no sense...On the lighter side I've been enjoying the girls. We went to the Hungry Parrot which is a All you can eat pizza and game room. They won a ton of candy Oh fun sugar high kids..LoL..They were dividing it one piece at a time so hubby suggested handfuls would be faster....

We've been enjoying the pool...Hubby's been working on my flower beds for me since I've been busy. He's planting me a sunflower garden today...Oh gotta tell you what Brianna told me,she's laying on the living room floor and I see her looking at eveything in the room. She's says "There's no color" .."Everything is brown".."Even your dolls" .."You really need some color"... LoL ...I guess she thinks prim is a little to drab.I told her there is red in the flags and blue in the bonnets..

I've also been working on finishing up a couple swaps.Down to final touches on most..Wanted to remind everyone that signed up for The Seasons of Friendship Swap you have till the 25th to get it shipped. If you have any problems let me know so we can get it fixed.Alot of you have asked.Yes I'll still be doing swaps.I enjoy both giving and reciving.Nothing like a sweet surprise...

The next one I'll be hosting is going to be a Fall Theme one sign ups will be in July..I've also been planning a giveaway.I was hoping to have 300 followers but I guess since I've been not the life of the party lately I lost a few.So I'm going to go ahead and start it this weekend. So watch for it..Warm Blessings!~Amy

Hi, I am busy finishing my items up for the swap. When I went thru the chemo and radiation, I did have a little problem with eating, but the pills they give you now, make a world of difference and he will probably have more of an appetite than what you think he will have.Good luck to you and dad, we'll be thinking of you. Remember to take care of yourself. Your dad will do just fine.

Hi Amy, Been thinking about you alot lately and praying for you and your dad. Just keep giving everything to God. Thanks so much for the goodies you sent to me through Misi's swap. I posted them on my blog so when you get a chance pop on over for a visit.
I get the same comments about all my prims too being drab. I love earth tones and try to add a splach here and there, but always go back to the browns.
Have a peacheful day!
hugs ♥*T

Such a sweet distraction! They are adorable!
You have been on my mind and in my prayers. I know it doesn't sound like much but having been through this with my brother, they do wonderful things these days. They are professionals and they know what to do.Put your faith in God and your trust in the doctors. Please stay hydrated and get plenty of rest. You are a strong woman and you need to stay that way. Hi Amy, So glad to here from you, you have been on my mind a lot lately. Not knowing what will happen does not make it easy, just taking it one day at a time, and staying busy will help. Knowing you have people who care and are concerned will help to. Take care of yourself, cute girls you have. Blessings and hugs. Vicky

So very good to hear from you again, dear Amy ~ Sounds like you're positive and balanced - as for the "witchy" on occasion part - I think that is MORE than expected...you're working it through and processing it - and that takes a tremendous amount of emotion. I didn't realize your father was so young....I lost my father when he was only 45....But I believe for you and your dad his age is a positive thing ~ he will have more strength and less chance of complications....My thoughts and prayers continue. (Those girls sing summer .... their blonde hair and brown skin - pool and summer are becoming to them!) Take care of you Sweetie....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin

Hey Amy,
I know it must be hard on you watching your dad going through this. I am sure he is glad to have you to help him. Make sure and take time for you though. Don't keep things bottled up, it's hard to let it all out sometimes, but you have to. I think prayer is just vital, and I have to believe that the Lord hears all of us, and he answers in his time.
I am mailing my box out this week, was going to this past one, but was sort of busy with other things.
Will let you know.
Hugs,
Renee

Hi Amy,
I am so sorry to hear about your Dad. I am praying for you both, and am glad that you are able to choose hope.

I know it is hard when your Dad is sick...I dealt with a little of that with my Dad.

May God bless you with His tender mercies today, my friend.
