Happy President's Day!!

Happy President's Day! No it's not a big deal to me but thought it would be a great chance to show off my favorite George Washington stuff..LoL...

I make the blackened beeswax filler/tucks with a antique mold....

I love George Washington! Talked Hubby into taking me on the day trip antiquing today but didn't find much that caught me which was a dissapointment because I had a little extra to spend.I wanted a new trencher or cupboard but didn't find any I liked that I thought were worth the money. So I bought a putz sheep or goat with horns he was pretty rough but I'll try to fix him because he was only $1,I also bought a older magazine it was Mary Emmerling and had lots of primitives and a old baby larger portrait.Oh and bee smoker with neat graphics...We went to TGIF for lunch. Now we're expecting 6+ inches of snow tonight.Hubby is making steak for dinner and I'm going to cozy up in my pj's with my new judy condon book.Warm Blessings!~Amy

Lovely George Washington decorations! I like how you have them all displayed. I only have one Washington item -- a cupboard print -- I have more Lincoln items as we have a "Civil War" living room!
Thanks for sharing on this President's Day! Have a good one....

Hi Amy, I love George Washington and love all the displays you have of him. You have some really neat items. Sorry the day of antiquing didn't offer more goodies. Sounds like a cozy, relaxing evening you have planned.8-)

Well, happy Prsidents Day to you, too! I really enjoyed learning about George Washington when I was a child in the States (albeit a terrible English redcoat child!) and I love this collection. Stay warm!
