The ride to a friends

Went to visit our friends today and I snapped a few pics to share along the way.It is mostly rural country roads to their house and it was a little icy so I took these from the car window.Enjoy the ride....Beautiful stone meeting house church dates back to the late 1700's it is so well upkept and I am so glad that someone is preserving it's history...
Cemetary attached to the old meeting house.....Love the old iron fence...The sun was just coming up for the winter morning...
There are beautiful stone houses all along the way........
The sheep farm most of them were inside today..
I love this house it's colonial prim.Main house with 3 huge additions..Part of the house is for rent. I'm so tempted to inquire about the apartment just so I can get a glimsp inside.LoL...

These last two pics didn't come out well it's the gate to the wildlife preserve/hunt club. The animals are all hand carved with such detail.I'll have to try again on my next trip....
You can always click pics and zoom in...
Our friends live way out in the country and are restoring a old farmhouse. They are living in a trailer while they restore the main house.Once it's restored I'll share some pics but right now it's basically a construction site.Hope you enjoyed our morning drive.I so enjoy all the views and will share more when it's not so icy and I can get out and take more pics.Warm Blessings!~Amy

Hi Amy, thanks for the lovely drive!! I love those stone buildings. I could live in that big house with the three additions, I wouldn't even need all of the additions.8-)
Blessings,
Lorna
