Inside Fall Decorating Pics and Ornie Swap Reminder

Well I've been busy and almost forgot to post the Halloween and Fall Decorating. Finishing up the market season and getting ready to nest.I'll have to admit I'm ready this year.People have been just out and out rude and disrespectful at times. One man even watched his kid break a antique, I said you do realize your kid broke that. He said it's not my kid. The mother came and said well it was fragile I said yes it's over 75 years old. Then  she says he didn't do it.I said I saw him and the man with him saw him you weren't here. They contemplated made some rude comments, I sat and didn't say anything never ask them to pay or anything just hoped they would teach their kid not to touch things without asking. The item was only $10 anyway. The man who said it's not my kid hands me $10 and says I hope you enjoy burning in Hell.I said ok but not quit sure why I would be going to hell over you not watching your kid.Alot of stealing this year too just little things but still.Don't get me wrong I love so many of my buyers and some are even close friends over the years but it's just been alot more people with no moral integrity or respect for others.I'm seeing it everywhere not just market.Anyhoo a break will be good...smile.... I've tried to simplify lately so not going all out like I used too. This sweet stitchery was a christmas gift from sister in law (jean primcrafts) last year. Yep had to wait a whole year to put it out....

Leave this little hooked mat out from Lauren all year. The pumpkin and colors just make me happy..

The Sheep is a gift from Madelyn Pineapple Primitives everyone always ask. I change out his little cart seasonally....

Well today was lovely.I did a little market up in the mountains and the drive was just beautiful with all the fall colors. They didn't buy alot but no rude people..smile.. Tomorrow it's supposed to get blustery and cold. Then I think we are in the 50's all week. There is still time to join in the ornie swap if you want. You have about 3 weeks to get them to me.The info is on the top sidebar for signups just click the snowman.Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!~Amy

Wow sad to hear about the rudeness. More and more people just do not care to be responsible, it's awful.

I love your Halloween and fall decorating! ~Jessica

Sad state of human beings. People don't know how to interact anymore and no manners. Lovely decor Amy!! I leave tomorrow. Praying for good weather, no exposure to any bad germs!!!!!

Love your Fall decor Amy!!! I have a thing for pumpkin dolls too.
I cringe when I see parents bring in kids and then don't keep an eye on them. Some are very well behaved, if not I leave...can't stand listening to uncontrollable kids.

Morning Amy, such wonderful Fall displays you put together, enjoy seeing all your treasures. Love the pumpkin folk and little pumpkin hooked mat, I would leave out all year too. I find rudeness is exploding, wonder how people were brought up or are they just miserable, sad though. Have a great weekend, Hugs Francine.

The problem today is that so many parents make excuses for their children, instead of teaching them right from wrong. And what a horrible example they just set when they insisted the boy didn't break the item!!
Love your fall decorating!!

Sorry for all your woes. What will they be like when grown if they are not taught when young?
LOVE the stitchery from your SIL! Beautiful. Happy that you are still enjoying your hooked pumpkin.
Happy fall.
Hugs :)

Hi Amy,
So sad to hear about the problems with rude people, but I totally feel that there is a lack of parental guidance and accountability these days. So sad. Your decorations look lovely! Fall is the best! Sorry I haven't been in any swaps lately, crazy year, hopefully 2015 will bring better days!

I just don't understand some parents. I would have been so embarrassed if that was my girl. And the stealing! Really do you need it that bad? How sad. A break is always nice to re-energize and become inspired again. Enjoy it! Love your fall decorating. Everything looks fantastic!!

It's been a while since I checked in as I don't have Internet so I just wanted to stop in and say hi. Isn't it astounding how some people have such a blatant disregard to others around them and in turn they are teaching such disrespect to their children??!! Some people though, not all, so there's hope.

We are all settled in our new home and really enjoying it. I even have a designated crafting space and just finished a month of sewing costumes for a Wizard of Oz production.

Anyhow, I hope you are doing well and I'll hopefully be able to come back and read some more of your posts before to much longer.
