Chit Chat

Well it's been such a busy week since Thanksgiving. We had Hubby's family, exchanged gifts, and ate good food till we wobbled. Wonderful visit especially his sister Jean because she is one of the few people I know who gets the blogging, crafting and prim thing..smile...Friday my birthday was uneventful did my Christmas Decorating.Hubby gave me some gifts one which was a maple butter crossroads candle I've wanted to try.Oh my goodness yummmmmm smelled up the whole house. Then late that evening I hear the doorbell and knocking usually don't get vistors later in the eve it was Hannah Honeybunch she just had to bring me a gourmet caramel apple dipped in chocolate.Just warmed my heart and made my whole day because ever since she was little she and I always said I'm getting a caramel apple for my birthday (never did but did on christmas LoL) So that she thought of her Auntie and made sure to hand deliver was extra special.Except she did say I know your not really 29 Me Maw told me...Just been doing the normal Christmas stuff.Tomorrow is my nephews birthday party. He'll be five.I'm the fun Auntie so I bought him the biggest nerf gun I could find of course I'll teach him to be extra bratty with it.LoL..Hey your only a kid once might as well enjoy it...Well hope you all are enjoying the holiday mood.We might get snow sunday fingers crossed.I'll be back in a day or two with pics of my christmas decorating.Warm Blessings!~Amy

You sound like a fun Aunt, but you have to realize that noisy gifts are even better to give ;)

Happy birthday late! I bet you are a wonderful aunt! Every kid needs that one special aunt in their life. I noticed while we were at my granddaughters, her sister had given her a mug that said,"Aunt. Just like Mom, only more fun"

Sounds like you had a Happy Birthday. I'm about finished with my Christmas decorating...went with a vintage feel and prim snowmen. Can't wait to see your Christmas decorating. We got freezing rain and 6 inches of snow here in my part of Ohio.
