Fall Decorating

Life has been super busy but I'm trying to enjoy it at a slower pace.Normally I start dragging down the Christmas around this time but have decided to enjoy fall a little longer. Will start Christmas on Black friday which happens to be my birthday this year.Yikes! I don't do the line standing fight for it thing. In fact other than a few online things for hubby I'm done my shopping.Want to nest and enjoy the simple things this season.Thankfulness, family, cozy home and all the blessings we sometimes miss.Hope you enjoy.....

I do the same thing-the boys are home Black Friday and they are typically good about helping me drag everything down from the attic to decorate. Notice I say typically LOL! So I'll get home decorated over the weekend.

Everything looks wonderful Amy! Relax and enjoy :)

I been so busy, I didn't even put but a hand full of Fall decorations out. I still have Some Snowmen and other things from a few swaps I was in last year that I never put away. Love my Snowmen!

Love the peeks at all your beautiful fall decorations Amy! And I'm with you (and most of the others commenting) in that Bfriday for me is rest, reflection, home and ONLINE shopping. You could not get me out to a store with a bribe or a beating (lol) on TG weekend!

Not sure when (or if) I'll do much Christmas decor this year - but will look forward to seeing and enjoying your pics

Hugs
Issy

Happy early Birthday! Your pics are beautiful!
I am all decorated for Christmas only because my son's birthday is on Monday and he asked if the house could be decorated for it. ;)
I have to work on Black Friday, Thanksgiving night more like it...I NEVER shopped Black Friday before I worked in retail. I always decorated that day.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I am loving all of your fall decor! Hope that you enjoy the last few days with all of the turkeys. I know that I am. I will be sad to tuck away all of my pilgrims, but will make way for ALL of the Santa's. Blessings~Sara

'Love the decorations. Yes, I also try to finish all shopping before Black Friday. Crowded stores and long checkout lines dismay me very much, lol!

Love that turkey. Did you make it? I hated to take my fall down, I really enjoyed it this year. I put Christmas up early because I am going to be gone so much and am having company. Have a good week.

Oh, my friend! I have missed you so much! I love your turkey and your efforts to prolong fall--or is it put off winter? I have pared down my holiday decorating to 1 medium tote for each holiday. My tree is up all year around and stands in the corner of the dining room. Some much less hassle and I'm just as happy with how everything looks. Love the beeswax items. They smell so good.
Happy, happy birthday, my friend.
I do still include you and family in my prayers...
