Spring?

Well it's spring inside at least..smile..I'm content with nesting a few weeks but am definately itching to go junking.I did go to a ladies house and find a few little treasures will share in a few days...Did put out some spring decor, thought I'd share a few pics..
Been creating a few goodies for swaps and friends. Now that my creativity is back I have a million ideas in my head.Just getting them out fast enough. Will have to get the notebook out and start a list..smile..
Hubby got the new results back for his upper back and neck. They found damage to the neck and another part of the spine in addition to the first results.I couldn't understand all the terms and such the dr said but I did look at the pictures and ask the questions I needed to know.Like when he was paralyzed for 3 weeks why that happened? He will be getting some sort of injections to burn? kill? the nerves and hopefully this will give some relief from pain it sounds like it will be a ongoing thing but the dr said if he does surgery hubby will probly be worse off than he is now.The hardest part is hubby needs to slow down and have patience like not moving a 200 lb item by himself and waiting for help.He has always pushed like a bull and got things done on his own so this will be hard for him...The good news is we won't have to go into the city so much now as the new dr is closer..I'm still amazed at how people and things are so differnt in the city.I'll take small town life any day.Well girls I'm taking a lazy day today.Want to catch up on some of my shows and some reading.Enjoy your weekend!~Amy

Good morning Amy...oh my goodness Spring...it's still snowing here. When will it end.
Maybe if I bring out some of my Spring items it will get the hint...maybe today!!!

Oh my goodness I am sorry about your husband. If you remember from my blog posts our oldest son has what your husband has...he just had his 3rd surgery in Jan and is FINALLY DOING WONDERFUL. I think this dr. hit the right spots.
Now what you are describing with the burning of the nerves is called RADIO FREQUENCY or other wise known as NERVE ABLATION...I had it done to my lower back 2 times. Helped greatly. I pray for your husband. About time he got some relief.
Oh and the 'not doing things'...I do think it's in our nature to not give in to that way of thinking. But I sure hope he does do what he needs to.

Hugs,
Karen

Hello Amy,

I pray that the pain will get lighter for your hubby. I can understand the frustration he feels :(

Ah, it's in the 70s here today and I have Spring fever! I have been purging . . . . after that, bringing some spring into the house!

I just adore your bunny and sheep!!! So CUTE!!!!!!!

Yay, fleas are around the corner, the good kind, ha ha ha I so wish you and I could go junkin together!!!

Have a wonderful weekend, my friend!

xoxo

Happy March Amy!
Your spring decorating is getting me more in the mood for warmer weather. I've been creating and not brought out my spring pretties. Hopefully tomorrow.
Glad to hear that your hubby is not going to have surgery. I know it depends on the individual but often times I've heard they are far worse than before. Praying the new treatment will get him back on his feet. Our hubbies sound the same....never waiting for help when they should. My man has always been a strong hard worker and not one to back down, even after his surgeries last year the guys were amazed at him when he went back to work, but commented that that was how Tom was!
Enjoy your day~
hugs,
Sheila

Dear Amy,

Your decorations are SO cheerful!
If Spring dawdles this year I swear I shall go totally mad, lol
(tho I suppose it'll be hard to see any difference in me as I'm always half a bubble off :-)

How difficult it is (for certain!) to convince any man to slow down, to ask for (and wait) for a bit of help when moving heavy items etc...

Sending hopes your way that the treatments and slowly deciding that not doing everything immediately/alone/man-style will all help his pain and your worry!

Hugs
Issy

Love your spring display!!! I'm also thinking your hubby must be related to my Uncle....his back is just as bad and he isn't slowing down either. You'd think they'd learn especially with the pain. I sure hope the shots give him some kind of relief. Hugs

Oh, spring is here too!!! Lazy days sound really nice. If I do that I reap what I sow and the next day is double trouble. Hope the injections work. My mother is doing the same thing. I love your chalk board. I need one.

Glad to hear your crafter's block is gone, I wish I could shake mine. I have been excavating the craft room so that may help.
It is so not Spring outside here, another 8-12 inches here again today, ugg! Good week to stay inside, catch up on blogs, crafting, and cleaning I guess.

Have a good week,
Kendra
