Fall Decorating

Well it seems my blogging is getting less time to chat with all you wonderful girls.Just a few more weeks and things will slow down and nesting season will begin for me...smile....Wanted to share my Halloween decorating around the house.Didn't do alot outside just some simple prim touches and some pumpkins of course.Spicy candles burning everyday, today pumpkin pie and maple syrup..Yummm...
Today will be a Pj day rain falling and nowhere to run.House is straight and baked cookies yesterday.Curling up with some hot tea and catching up on some of my shows and reading some prim mags..Will figure out something slow to pop in the oven for dinner maybe beef tips and onions over garlic cheese toast...
Might work on some ornies later for mine and Old lady morgans swaps...I was tempted to go to a sale but figured it was raining and gas would be to high for just one sale so glad I didn't go now...Yes I need to remind myself Relax...
Went with grandma for the blood work it was funny she thought she remembered the way from before but took me on a wrong turn and we ended up at the prison. We had to go the whole way around just to get out. They were transporting prisoners so armed guards everywhere.Grandma is yelling get me outta here.LoL.The lady that did my blood was wonderful.I ask her if she was good and she said yes.I said I'm not good with needles. She said don't worry and was right didn't hurt at all. That was the first time it didn't hurt or they didn't miss the vein.I won't have the results back till next week sometime.
The leaves are at their peek here,so tomorrow plan on taking a drive.PA has so many beautiful farms and houses.Love to just drive and daydream...

The girls just had their Birthday..Yikes..The big 10 they are becoming so independant and really have their own personalities...Love them with all my heart...
They both had "Best Friends" this year...
They had the party at the bowling alley so they had a blast.Well girls hope you all have a great weekend.Warm Blessings!~Amy

One question...how does Grandma know the way to the prison so well...? lol

Oh, a pj day sounds wonderful, it is one of those days here today but I have a haircut appt at 10am and if I don't go I may just shave my own head!

I have Rosemary Lavender Gardener's Salve in the crock pot simmering for the day and it smells wonderful...no need for candles today.

Enjoy your day

Love PJ days. Even better with a bit of rain and a good book. Laughed out loud at the "prison" story and your grandma. I could just hear the conversation in your car! Enjoy the weekend.

Love those pj days. Today is one for me:) I haven't had one for so long. Your fall decor is lovely. I love the blackend beeswax witch. Glad that the blood work went well and that it's all over and done with. Too funny about the prison. I hope the results come back with something that is easy to fix. How fun to turn 10. That's such a "grown up" age. Mine turns nine next month. The party looks like it was fun. -Steph-

Hi Amy,

I know all too well blood work and not liking needles!!! We have had very unseasonally warm weather lately BUT today its chilly and overcast!!!! Yeah!!! Please share your pictures of your drive about... I do so miss the beautiful colors Pennsylvania.. When my son was little (he is 30 now) one fall we were on the turnpike near Valley Forge and he said "boy God can sure paint good":)
Good girl for going to get your bloodwork done!!!
